The Mooroondu FC FQPL 5 Squad is the club’s premier senior men’s football program and represents the highest level of competition within our senior pathway. The squad brings together experienced senior players and emerging talent who share a commitment to developing their football, competing at a high level and representing Mooroondu FC with pride.
Built on a strong culture of teamwork, respect and continual improvement, the group has become one of the club’s most successful senior programs.
Recent Success and Growth
Recent seasons have seen significant growth and success for the squad. Following promotion at the conclusion of the previous season, the team stepped into a higher division and immediately established itself as a competitive force, finishing third on the ladder and narrowly missing a second consecutive promotion.
The squad has also reached the semi-finals for three consecutive seasons, highlighting the consistency, dedication and quality that have become hallmarks of the playing group. These achievements reflect the hard work of the players, coaching staff and the broader Mooroondu FC community.

A key part of this journey has been Head Coach Doug, who has guided the squad through the challenges and successes of the past three seasons. His leadership, commitment to player development and dedication to the club have helped create an environment where players are supported to reach their potential while contributing to the success of the team.
